Who is responsible for your data
Neural Vibe Ltd is the controller for personal data collected through the UsAgain website, early access forms, beta application forms, and contact forms. This means we decide why and how that personal data is used.
What we collect
If you join the waitlist or register interest in private beta, we collect the information you submit, such as your email address, applicant type, broad relationship context, device platform, interest reason, availability, feedback preferences, and consent choices.
If you are invited to complete a beta application, we may also collect practical beta-fit details such as age confirmation, country or region, timezone, relationship length band, broad motivation tags, support needs, and written answers you choose to provide.
If you contact us, we collect your name, email address, contact reason, message, and any information you choose to include. Please do not send explicit sexual details, private partner messages, screenshots, private reflections, health information, or other highly sensitive content through the website forms.
We may also receive basic technical information from our hosting, security, and email systems, such as IP address, browser details, request logs, delivery status, and timestamps. We use this to keep the website secure, reliable, and working properly.
How we use it
We use your data to manage launch interest, send relevant UsAgain updates, invite selected people to complete beta applications, assess beta fit, assemble a practical testing cohort, reply to enquiries, manage privacy requests, protect the website, and keep appropriate operational records.
Our lawful bases
Under UK GDPR, we rely on different lawful bases depending on the context. We rely on consent where you ask to receive launch or beta updates and where you submit optional beta interest information. We rely on legitimate interests to reply to enquiries, understand demand for UsAgain, prevent abuse, keep the website secure, and manage a limited pre-launch beta. We may rely on legal obligation where we need to keep records or respond to lawful requests.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run the website and related systems, including hosting, database, email delivery, security, and operational tools. These providers process data for us under appropriate contractual controls. We do not sell your personal data, publish it, use it for relationship scoring, or share it with other couples.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files placed on a device by a website. Similar technologies, such as local storage, can also remember information in a browser. We use the word cookies in this policy to include those similar technologies.
Strictly necessary storage
We use essential browser storage to remember cookie choices and keep the website working. The key is usagain_cookie_consent_v1, it is stored in local storage, and it expires after 6 months. This prevents us from asking the same question on every visit.
Our forms and hosting providers may also use strictly necessary technical processing to keep the website secure, submit forms, deliver emails, prevent abuse, and serve the site reliably.
Analytics cookies
We use, or are preparing to use, Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the UsAgain website. Google Analytics helps us measure visits, pages viewed, broad traffic sources, device and browser information, and website performance so we can improve the site. We do not use Google Analytics to inspect intimate app data or score relationships.
Google Analytics cookies are optional. We will only load Google Analytics and set analytics cookies where analytics consent has been given through the consent panel.
Google explains GA4 cookie usage in its Google Analytics cookie documentation and explains more generally how Google uses cookies in its cookie information page.
Marketing cookies
We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and only use marketing cookies where required consent has been given.
Your cookie choices
You can accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or manage categories in the consent panel. Rejecting non-essential cookies will not stop the website from working.
You can change your choice at any time by using the Cookie settings link in the footer or this button:
Most browsers also let you block, delete, or restrict cookies and local storage. Browser controls are separate from the UsAgain consent panel and may affect how websites remember preferences.
International transfers
Some providers may process personal data outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we use appropriate safeguards such as adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or equivalent contractual and organisational protections.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist and beta interest records while UsAgain is preparing launch and beta testing, and for a reasonable period afterwards to manage invitations, suppress duplicate records, and handle privacy requests. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and maintain an appropriate record of the enquiry, usually no longer than 24 months unless a longer period is required for legal, safety, or operational reasons. Technical logs are kept for limited security and reliability purposes.
What we do not do
We do not sell lead data, create public profiles, run a social feed, create compatibility or relationship quality scores, inspect intimate app data for marketing, or ask beta applicants to disclose explicit sexual details, screenshots, private reflections, partner messages, or partner-private disclosures through the website.
Your rights
You may have the right to ask us for access to your personal data, to correct it, delete it, restrict how it is used, object to certain processing, receive a portable copy, or withdraw consent where we rely on consent. You can make a request by emailing dpo@neuralvibe.ai.
Complaints
We would like the chance to resolve privacy concerns directly. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as UsAgain moves from pre-launch into beta testing and launch. When the service changes materially, we will update this page so the policy keeps pace with the way the service works.
